The family of Ryan Simpson thanks you for your article. If you would like to post an update, The following is a schedule of services:
.
On Saturday, March 24, at Grace Lutheran Church in La Plata (Rt 6E & 488) at 6:00 pm: a memorial service put on entirely by Ryan’s friends from LaPlata High School and McDonough High School.

Sunday, March 25, at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in La Plata: viewing from 2 pm to to 4 pm, and 6 pm to 8 pm, with prayer service at 7 pm.

Monday, March 26, at Sacred Heart Church on St. Mary’s Ave. in La Plata at 10 am, funeral mass for Ryan. Burial afterward at Sacred Heart Cemetary, followed by a gathering for friends and family at American Legion Post #82 on 301 in La Plata.

Ryan’s mother requests any donations in Ryan’s name be made to the Ryan Simpson Memorial Fund at McDonough High School, or to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (St. Jude’s pdf form).
