Update:
On October 5, 2013 at 9:29 PM Patrol units responded to the Charlotte Hall WAWA for the report of a stabbing which occurred in the parking lot of the business.ย Upon arrival deputies discovered two victims suffering from stab wounds and a wrist injury. A third victim was located and complained of a head injury.ย One victim was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter โTrooper 7โ to Prince Georgeโs County Hospital Shock Trauma Center for treatment. The other two victims were treated locally and released.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division assumed the investigation and were subsequently able to identify Sean R. Alpert, age 37, of Brandywine, Maryland as the person who had inflicted the injuries to the victims. An Arrest Warrant was obtained by detectives however Alpertโs whereabouts were unknown at the time. Information was later obtained through investigation Alpert was staying at a residence in Brandywine, Maryland and a Search Warrant was obtained for the residence.
On October 25, 2013 at 6:00 AM CID detectives, with the assistance of the Prince Georgeโs County Police Emergency Services Team, Detectives from the Prince Georgeโs County Police Department and the Agents from the Charles County Parole and Probation Division executed the Search Warrant at a residence on Danville Rd. in Brandywine, Maryland and took Alpert into custody without incident.
Alpert was transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center, charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Assault, 3 counts of 2nd Degree Assault and 1 count of Reckless Endangerment. Alpert is currently being held under No Bond.

Previous Release:
Emergency responder sources in St. Maryโs County reported that crews have been dispatched to the Charlotte Hall WaWa on Route 5 for a reported double stabbing. A helicopter has been requested by authorities, sources report. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m.
