On October 1 at approximately 8 a.m., officers responded to the 8800 block of Osterly Court in White Plains after receiving a call from a teenaged resident who reported finding two family members deceased inside the residence.ย
When officers arrived, they found Patrice Anwar Warner, 39, and his wife, Altovise Lashawn Warner, 38, in an upstairs bedroom, each suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. They were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.ย
During the initial investigation, detectives determined this is a possible murder/suicide.ย A gun and other evidence were recovered at the scene. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Charles County Sheriffโs Office Major Crimes Unit at (301) 609-6514.
The investigation is on-going.ย

Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Osterly Court around 8 a.m. on Friday, October 1 after receiving a 911ย call for the report of two bodies found.
Investigation revealed the bodies of a husband and wife wereย discovered in an upstairs master bedroom after their 13-year-old son heard a loud noise and went to investigate. A handgun was found lying on the ground next to the man’s body and was registered to the deceased male.
The couple has not yet been identified.
Police are awaiting autopsy results to determine whether the man shot his wife and then himself.
