Update: The driver that fled the scene was apprehended a few hours later.
Late Friday night at 10:23 pm rescue crews responded to Three Notch road in Oakville for a serious motor vehicle accident.
Once on scene one female patient had to be extricated from the overturned vehicle. That patient was flown to PG shock trauma by MSP trooper 7 priority 1. The driver in the other vehicle fled on foot.
Traffic was delayed in the southbound lane.
