HUNTINGTOWN, MD – A Charles County woman is in police custody following a motor vehicle collision Thursday afternoon, April 16 on Old Town Road in Huntingtown.
Captain Todd Ireland of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office told The Bay Net, the at-fault driver left a location on Hunting Creek Road, sideswiped another vehicle and subsequently ran into the rear of another vehicle.
The sheriff’s office has identified the at-fault driver as Nicole Jaqueline Givens, 23 of Hughesville. Ireland said she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and also faces various other traffic charges. Givens is being detained pending a hearing with a court commissioner.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

No injuries were reported.
The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office told The Bay Net that one of the drivers has been charged with driving under the influence.
