PRINCE FREDERICK, MD – On Monday, June 15 at 7:48 p.m., the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (Company 2) was alerted for a personal injury accident a short distance from the fire house.
Units responded to northbound Route 2/4 (Solomons Island Road). Crews arrived to find a one-vehicle accident. The vehicle was overturned. Crews found two motorists with no entrapment. Company 2 operated for 20 minutes.
Local police are still investigating the accident.

Northbound Route 2/4, North of Old Field Lane is shut down due an accident. Expect delays at this time.
