The annual Veterans’ Day Parade through Leonardtown was once again packed with participants and spectators on Saturday.
From the regimented march of school bands, to the idling of antique cars, from which the crowd that lined the streets was showered in a confetti of candy, there was something for everyone and the mood was one of excited and celebratory remembrance.
St. Mary’s newly-elected officials were on hand – or on floats, as the case may be – for the annual parade and ceremony.
