On March 2 at 10:12 p.m., officers responded to Ell Lane in Waldorf for the report of a cutting.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, a 22–year-old male, who reported he was behind a building in the 3600 block of Leonardtown Road when he was approached by a group of suspects who demanded money. The victim complied and then punched one of the suspects. The victim fled and later realized he had been cut.
He was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for a non life-threatening injury.
