Calvert County Dep. J. Parsons responded to the Chesapeake Beach Fastop on July 10 at 6:30 p.m., for the report of a drunk and disorderly male refusing to leave.ย
Parsons made contact with the suspect, later identified as Dexter Erwin Holland, Jr., 28 of Owings, and observed him to be extremely intoxicated.ย ย Parsons inquired if Holland was okay and needed a way home and that he needed to leave the store.ย Parsons was then advised by security at the Rod โN Reel Restaurant that Holland had just been ordered to leave that establishment for being disorderly.ย Parsons received a call that Holland had returned to the Rod โN Reel and was in the parking lot hollering and cursing at the boaters in the marina. Parsons made contact with Holland and arrested him for disorderly conduct.ย
Once in the patrol vehicle Holland became violent.ย He was subdued and taken to the Calvert County Detention Center.ย Holland was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
