September marks National Recovery Month, a month dedicated to highlighting the many ways that people can and do recover from addictive behaviors and other mental or behavioral health concerns.ย  National Recovery Month invites us to explore the benefits of recovery to individuals, families and the community itself.ย  โ€œThe theme this year is Visible, Vocal, Valuable, and that sums up the positive impact that folks in recovery largely have on themselves, their families, and their communities,โ€ says Laura Webb, Recovery Support Director at Walden.ย  โ€œCommunity and family support can be key to recovery, and within the story of a person in recovery we often find a community and family story.โ€

In keeping with the Visible, Vocal, Valuable theme, Walden is offering three opportunities to the community to join in National Recovery Month.ย
