Three lucky Bay Net readers will be rocking out this Friday night in St. Leonard with classic rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Congratulations to contest winners:
Amy Payne, aka Bay Net reader โ€œslurpeequeenโ€, who won a pair of tickets AND a pair of backstage passes.
Amy writes in the contest form: โ€œI actually want this for my husband. He has been a fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd well before we got together and we’ve been together since 1988 โ€ฆ There is such gratification when you give something to the man you love that means so much. Meeting the band would be such a memorable experience for him and myself.โ€

Also winning a pair of tickets was, Vicki Hughes, aka Bay Net member โ€œqbee817โ€
Vicki writes in The Bay Netโ€™s forums:
โ€œI have been a fan since their first release in 1973. Their music has been there for me thru good times and bad times. I am a die hard fan, not a fly by night fan who would go to the concert and think the singer’s name is Leonard. I would mean the world to me to go see them.โ€

Out final winner is Kelly Allen, aka Bay Net reader โ€œmulvaโ€ whoโ€™ll be enjoying a much needed โ€œgirlโ€™s night outโ€
Kelly commented:
โ€œI grew up listening to Skynyrd in high school. In fact, “Freebird” was our theme song at my junior prom !! My friends and I wore that album out playing it over and over again. Aahh, the memories …. This band is timeless, and their music appeals to many genres and age groups (my 64 year old father is a huge fan too). Many entertainers these days claim that they support the troops, certain causes, etc. to promote their own agendas. These guys are the real deal. They don’t need the money, they don’t need the publicity. They do this because they want to give back – very selfless individuals. There are not many people left in this world that can stake that claim. All while putting on one heck of a show !
