On November 18, 2010 at 11:53 p.m., TFC N. E. Gresko while on-duty in the Wawa in California, observed a male subject that held two outstanding St. Mary’s Sheriff Office Warrants. The male subject was followed to a vehicle in the parking lot and placed under arrest following confirmation of the warrants.
While arresting the male subject, TFC Gresko detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. All occupants of the vehicle were required to exit and a probable cause search was conducted.
A search of Corey Raymond Cook, 20, of Callaway was met with positive results. Mr. Cook was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Cook was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
