PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – The Calvert County Department of Public Works will reopen Ward Road in Dunkirk, beginning Monday, Oct. 4, 2021.
A section of the road was closed to all traffic for the construction of a new roundabout and roadway improvements at the entrance to Ward Farm Recreation & Nature Park. Construction began in July 2021 and was set be completed by Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, but work was delayed due to inclement weather.
