Water boil notice in Strawberry Hills at Swan Point

UPDATE: 7:55 p.m., March 1: Charles County – Boiled Water – Strawberry Hills

Boiled water advisory in effect for Strawberry Hills until further notice.

UPDATE: At 5:29 p.m., the Charles County Department of Public Works announced that the water main break has been repaired and normal water service restored to Boxwood Circle in Strawberry Hills by the Department of Public Works, Utilities Division. 

Citizens are advised to run spigots until clear if they experience discolored water.

At,2:45 pm,,March 1 preparations are underway by the Charles County Department of Public Works (DPW), Utilities Division, to repair a broken water main affecting Mohawk Ct/Magnolia Ct/Magnolia Dr in the neighborhood of Swan Point. 

Repairs have an estimated completion time of 6 p.m. 

Once normal service is restored, run spigots for discolored water.
