Now that 2009 is just about over, we thought we take a look back at the year we have shared together. This year, TheBAYNET.com put up nearly 5,000 new stories, an increase of a 1,000 stories over 2008. Plans are to upload even more in the year ahead.

The guys and gals here at TBN continue to work every single day of the year to bring you the very best, up-to-date and breaking news. โ€œNews Now!โ€ is not only our goal, it is a creed we live by each and every day.

Whatโ€™s more, now that we have many of our readers contributing news and stories of interest, we are looking forward to an even better mix of news and information from around Southern Maryland in 2010.

In addition to an increased level of news reporting, there have been some interesting changes here as well. In the fall of 2009, we launched Baynet Radio with John Hunt and brought the only true Rock and Alternative music to Southern Maryland โ€ฆ

โ€ฆ and the world.

Thatโ€™s right, you might not be aware, but you, as a reader of TBN and/or a listener of Baynet Radio, are part of a worldwide movement. By the end of 2009, TBN was read in 152 countries around the world in addition to all 50 states and on military bases around the globe.

We also launched TBNโ€™s Facebook and Twitter pages so you can follow us anywhere your smart phone goes.

In the coming days, weeks and months, there will be many more changes โ€“ all for the better โ€“ coming to TBN and you can rest assured, you, our readers who have made us the success we are, will be involved in everyone of those changes like you are each and every day.
