Synopsis: Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features 17 Irving Berlin songs. Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. For auditions: They are looking for a diverse cast; one female 9-12 years old part available. Auditions consist of singing, dancing, and cold reading from the script. Prepare 16 to 32 bars of a classic Broadway-style song (Berlin, Gershwin, Rogers and Hammerstein, etc.), and arrive with sheet music. No acapella, no songs from the show, and no recordings of music. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for dancing. Performance dates are November 25 – December 18, 2016.
