On February 7, Deputy Scott Ruest responded to a residence in Lexington Park for an assault.
Deputy Ruest’s investigation determined Jason R. Thomas, 33 of Lexington Park, became involved in an argument with his wife/victim. During the argument, Thomas threw the victim to the ground causing visible signs of injury.
Jason Thomas was arrested, charged with assault and released to the custody of the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner
