Hollywood, MD — Sotterley Plantation celebrated its 14th annual Riverside Winefest this past weekend, with live music, numerous food and beer vendors, and multiple artisans on display.
Nancy Easterling, the Executive Director at Sotterley Plantation, said well over 1,000 people attended the event..
“Our loyal followers came out rain or shine to support Sotterley, we are so grateful for our supportive Southern Maryland family,” said Easterling.
Bands like Muddy Crows, Hydra Fx, John Luskey, Out of Order were featured as guest had their choice of over 16 different wineries.
“All this support really helps us ensure that the educational programs at Sotterley will continue to grow,” said Easterling.
Some of the wineries traveled as far from Olney, and many local wineries were showcased at this event.
Local winery favorites were in attendance which included Port of Leonardtown Winery, Running Hare Vineyard, Solomons Island Winery, and Slack Winery and Vineyard.
“We really are just so grateful,” said Easterling.
