GREAT MILLS, Md. – On Feb. 7 at 1:31 p.m., crews responded to a crash on Flat Iron Road near Shady Drive of Great Mills. Arriving units report that a vehicle drove into a utility pole causing it to come down, spreading live electrical wires over the roadway. SMECO is en route to secure the scene so First Responders can begin providing assistance. Drivers in the area are advised to use caution and expect delays.
