ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On Feb. 20 at 9:40 p.m., the Annapolis Police Department responded to reports of an assault on the 100 block of Clay Street of Annapolis.
An adult female victim advised that a man she knows assaulted her, grabbed her purse, and stole money and a cell phone. Through investigation Christopher Stewart, 25, of Annapolis was identified as the suspect. A warrant was obtained for Stewart and he was arrested Feb 21 at 12:00 a.m. in the unit block of West Washington St. Stewart was charged with robbery, assault, and theft and is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
