On Nov. 13, at 7:35 p.m., Tpr. J. Pilkerton responded to the reported domestic assault in the 40000 block of Wolf Drive in Mechanicsville. 

Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 39 of Mechanicsville, who advised she was assaulted by Christopher Gareth Blyler, 40 of Mechanicsville. 

During the course of the investigation, all parties involved were interviewed and Blyler was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with second-degree assault and held pending a bond review.
