On November 23, 2010 at 8:41 p.m., TFC K. D. Lashley responded to the McKay’s Pharmacy in the 37000 block of Mohawk Drive in Charlotte Hall for a report of a subject attempting to fill a fraudulent prescription.
Upon arrival, contact was made with Mandy Lynn Brown, 31, of Mechanicsville, whom was determined to be the subject attempting to fill the prescription. Additionally, contact was made with a male complainant, 61, of California who advised he confirmed with the issuing physician that the prescription was fraudulent.
Brown was informed of the complaint and placed under arrest for prescription fraud. A search incident to arrest revealed Oxycodone, not prescribed to Ms. Brown. Ms. Brown was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
