On February 8, 2011, Cpl Jason Maletto responded to the Wal-Mart in California, for a reported theft.
Deputy Maletto learned Deborah Jeanne Laquay, 50 of Lexington Park, was observed by store staff concealing merchandise in bags. She was confronted while trying to exit the business and $490.30 of merchandise was recovered.
Laquay was charged on a criminal citation for theft and released pending her court date.
