On February 20, Dfc. R Gill responded to Radford Lane in Lexington Park, to check the welfare of a child.
Upon arrival he located a black Chevrolet Cavalier with a women sleeping in the passenger seat and a small child in a child safety seat inside the vehicle. As Dfc. Gill was attempting to contact the woman, Christopher Hale, 29 of no fixed address, walked up to the vehicle. He explained that the occupants of his vehicle were related to him.
A check of the vehicle registration revealed the registration plates on the vehicle were reported stolen from Charles County.
Hale was arrested and charged with theft under $100.00.
