At 6:36 p.m. May 25, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 2500 block of Robinson Place in Waldorf for the report of a stabbing.
The investigation revealed a 26-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were involved in a domestic dispute when the woman retrieved a knife and stabbed the man in his side.
The woman was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault and was being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before a district court commissioner.
The man was transported by ambulance to Civista Medical Center, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
