Corporal Elizabeth O’ Connor responded to the 24000 block of Mervell Dean Road in Hollywood, for a reported suspicious vehicle. Corporal O’Connor located a vehicle parked in a driveway blocking several other vehicles.
Further investigation revealed, Heather Ann Thompson, age 22, of Nanajemoy as the driver of the vehicle, who appeared to be under the influence. A field sobriety test was performed on Thompson and she was placed under arrest.
A search of her vehicle revealed paraphernalia consistent with Xanax and Subutex. Thompson was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Two Counts of Attempting to Drive A Vehicle while Impaired, CDS Possession – Paraphernalia and Two Counts of CDS Possession – Not Marijuana.
