
WALDORF, Md. – The Charles County Department of Health is once again hosting a harm reduction workshop for parents and their teens on Saturday, June 9th from 8:30 am-3:00 pm at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center in Waldorf, MD. This is a free educational forum for parents and teens to learn valuable information on important topics that impact teens today.
Topics of discussion include:
- Adolescent opiate and other drug use
- Healthy relationships
- Staying safe
- HIV/AIDS and STI related issues
This will be an excellent opportunity for parents and teens to learn how to improve communications on these topics and help teens build their skills for preventing unsafe behaviors.
Narcan training will be offered immediately after the workshop for any interested persons.
