13 Marines injured after rollover crash in Fort A.P. Hill

FORT A.P. HILL, Va. – A large single vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon, July 25 injured 13 marines in Fort A.P. Hill, VA, according to multiple sources.

Reports say the Marines were leaving small arms training in Camp Lejeune, Caroline County when their seven-ton transport vehicle slid down an embankment and overturned. Officials say that 10 Marines were treated on scene and three Marines were transported to a hospital. 

All of the Marines are expected to make a full recovery. Officials suspect that wet roads may have caused the crash.
