Calvert County emergency responders were called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning on Route 4 in Dunkirk. The accident caused northbound lanes to be closed for about 45 minutes. The incident was reported at 3:45 a.m. near Kelly Generators.
The car overturned but the two individuals in it reportedly did not need treatment and signed a release at the scene.
Traffic along the road was very light at the time and the roadway was reopened at about 4:30 after the vehicle was removed.
