MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motorcycle accident in the area of South Sandgates Road.
At approximately 6:17 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to reports of a motorcycle accident in the 26000 block of South Sandgates Road. Upon arrival, crews discovered the motorcycle laying in the median with one injured patient. It is not currently known what caused the crash.
After being examined by EMS, the determination was made to transport the individual to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
Use caution in the area, and stay alert for emergency vehicles.
