LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motorcycle accident off of Hermanville Road.
At approximately 10:19 p.m. on May 20, first responders were dispatched to the scene in the area of Greenleaf Road. The driver of the motorcycle is believed to be in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
A helicopter from the Maryland State Police Aviation is being requested to transport the patient to a nearby trauma center. The landing zone has been established at the ball field near Lincoln Avenue. They are expecting to land at approximately 10:45 p.m.
Police are still on the scene of the crash. Be advised to continue using caution if traveling in the area.
