LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident in Lexington Park that left a vehicle on its side.

At approximately 11:22 p.m. on May 29, crews responded to the scene in the 20000 block of Hermanville Road in Lexington Park. The call was originally put out that the occupant was trapped in the overturned vehicle.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a vehicle that had flipped onto its side off the roadway, however the driver had already gotten out of the vehicle and was not trapped.ย 

The one occupant who was involved signed a refusal of care. Fire department units on the scene returned to service at 11:47 p.m.

This is a developing story. Continue to use caution in the area, and avoid the scene if possible. Hermanville Road has been temporarily shut down due to the accident.
