All Aboard: Wanted Passenger, Pot, Purseful of Percocet

At 1:23 am on Saturday, June 24  TFC L. Nims stopped a vehicle on Route 235 at Wildwood Blvd, California, for failing to drive in a single lane. 

A check through NCIC indicated the passenger, Teresa Diane Ventre, 49, of Hollywood, had an outstanding arrest warrant for uttering bad checks. 

A search incident to arrest revealed marijuana under the dashboard. Located in Ms. Ventre’s purse was a bottle containing percocet, for which she had no prescription.  Ms. Ventre was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of percocet and possession of CDS paraphernalia. 

The driver, Christopher Allan Goddard, 31, of Leonardtown was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. 

Both were taken to the detention center and held pending a bond review.
