At 2:34 P.M. on Friday, November 18, 2011, Medic 3 came upon a personal injury accident just in on Great Mills Road from Point Lookout Road. Medic 3 contacted fireboard and had a rescue assignment dispatched for the incident. Crews arrived on scene to find 2 vehicles on the median and in the road. It was quickly decided to cancel excess units and keep a single ambulance for the single patient that got transported. The last fire/rescue unit cleared the scene at 2:52.
