ACCOKEEK, Md. — A man was killed Friday morning, May 8, 2026, in a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Accokeek.
Officers and emergency personnel responded around 7:20 a.m. to the area of Indian Head Highway and Pine Drive for a reported collision involving two vehicles and a school bus.
Officials said no children were on the bus at the time of the crash.
The driver of one of the vehicles, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The bus driver, also an adult male, was transported to a hospital for treatment. A third driver, another adult male, was treated at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the crash.
