NORTH BEACH, Md. — A free, family-friendly celebration of local art, music, and food is coming to North Beach on May 17 as Art Alley transforms the space outside Metropolitan Appliances into a vibrant outdoor art bazaar.

The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. at 8900 Chesapeake Ave. and will feature independent artist booths, live mural painting, food trucks, and live music performances.

Organized by Anthony Greene, Art Alley aims to highlight the talents of local artists while fostering community engagement and supporting area businesses.

“Art Alley is all about bringing people together through creativity,” Greene said. “We want to provide a platform for independent artists while creating an exciting space where families, art lovers, and the community can connect.”

Attendees can browse handmade artwork, watch large-scale murals come to life, enjoy local food vendors, and listen to live music throughout the afternoon.

This year’s event is supported by Metropolitan Appliances, the Arts Council of Calvert County, Artworks at 7th, the Maryland State Arts Council, and the Reel Independent Film Extravaganza.

Art Alley is free and open to the public. For more information, vendor opportunities, or sponsorship inquiries, contact Anthony Greene at agreene@filmvillage.org.
