NORTH BEACH, Md. — The Art Alley event is returning to North Beach, Maryland, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring artists, crafters and creative vendors, the sophomore year for this community arts celebration has expanded the interactive aspects of the event, promising more fun and creative involvement for participants.
This free, outdoor event features a lineup of exciting new and returning attractions that celebrate creativity, community and connection in Calvert County. Art Alley has teamed up with Artworks at 7th, Flynn’s Arcade, The Arts Council of Calvert County, Paisley Arts and the Calvert County Humane Society for this year’s event.
What’s happening at Art Alley 2026
• Community Art Painting Project (Returning!) — Community members of all ages and skill levels are invited to contribute to a collaborative community painting, creating a living artwork built by the people of Southern Maryland.
• Paws & Print Station (NEW!) — Bring your furry friend and create a one-of-a-kind paw print keepsake. A portion of vendor registration proceeds will benefit the Calvert County Humane Society, who will be on hand with four-legged friends from the shelter to participate in the festivities.
• Children’s Paint Station (NEW!) — A dedicated creative space designed for our youngest artists. Children will have the opportunity to explore painting in a fun, family-friendly environment — sparking a lifelong love of art.

There is a limited amount of vendor tables for artists, craft-makers and creative vendors to secure a spot.
