When not writing, Shelly enjoys hiking local trails, taking peaceful walks along Fishing Creek, and enjoying the local food scene, with favorites like Baia Coastal Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar and Vaughan Cheese Counter & Bar. A former business owner, Shelly also values creating spaces where people feel supported and empowered.
