ST. MARY’S COUNTY & CALVERT COUNTY, Md. – Please join us in congratulating Calvert County Sheriff’s Deputy First Class Ryan Jones and his K9 partner Bane, along with St. Mary’s County Deputy Jordan Wagner and his K9 partner Groot, on successfully completing the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office K9 School.
DFC Ryan Jones and K9 Bane completed an impressive eight weeks of Narcotics Detection School, followed by 18 weeks of Basic Patrol Dog Training. Their dedication, discipline and teamwork have prepared them well to serve and protect our community.

Deputy Jordan Wagner and his K9 partner Groot also put in tremendous work, successfully completing an intensive 10-week Narcotics Training School. Their commitment to excellence reflects the strong partnership between our agencies and our shared mission of keeping our communities safe.
These achievements represent months of hard work, long training days and the building of unbreakable bonds between handler and K9. We are incredibly proud of both deputies and their partners. Your agencies are fortunate to have such dedicated teams ready to serve.

We wish you both safe, successful and rewarding K9 careers and, of course, time to celebrate with your favorite treats.
Thank you for your continued service and commitment to protecting our community.
