Waldorf, MD.– At approximately 11:00 a.m., a man walked into the Bank of America located in Waldorf and demanded $1,000,000.
The teller replied that this bank {Bank of America] does not have that kind of money.
The man reached for his waistband looking as if he was going to reveal a weapon. The teller pushed the emergency alarm button in response to the man reaching for his waistband.
Charles County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene moments later. The man was taken into custody.
“A investigation is currently being conducted by Charles County Sheriff’s Office,” said Diane Richardson, who is the Public Information Officer of Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
