Free Calvert County Community Resource Fair Brings Community Support Together March 27

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Finding help shouldn’t be complicated. That’s the idea behind the 2026 Calvert County Community Resource Fair, where dozens of local organizations will gather in one place to make it easier for residents to learn about programs, services and support available throughout the community.

The free annual event is hosted by the Calvert County Department of Community Resources, the Calvert County Homeless Service Board and Community Resource Fair committee, and LifeStyles of Maryland, bringing together organizations dedicated to helping individuals and families across Calvert County.

Designed as a one-stop opportunity for residents to explore local resources, the event will feature more than 50 vendors and agencies offering information and support related to housing, employment, transportation, health services, food assistance and other essential programs.

To help make the day welcoming and accessible for everyone, several free services will be available to attendees.

Event highlights include:

  • More than 50 vendors and organizations offering vital community resources and information in one convenient location.
  • Free professional clothing for women from the Commission for Women’s Clothes Closet.
  • Free lunch for attendees, provided by the Prince Frederick Chick-fil-A.
  • Free transportation available, including shuttle service running every 30 minutes from Calvert Library Prince Frederick, Project ECHO and the Department of Social Services.
  • Calvert County Public Transportation bus routes will also stop at the College of Southern Maryland Prince Frederick Campus.
  • Free toiletry giveaways available while supplies last.

Community partners encourage residents to stop by anytime during the event to learn about available services, meet community organizations and connect with programs that support individuals and families across Calvert County.
