PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – Yesterday, five Calvert County Sheriff’s Deputies and Maryland State Troopers from the Maryland State Police – Prince Frederick Barrack “U” were recognized by Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Inc. (CAASA) during the Board of County Commissioners public meeting. These dedicated officers were honored as the top DUI enforcement officers for their outstanding efforts to keep impaired drivers off our roads.

As December is officially proclaimed ‘Designated Driver Month’, we encourage everyone to prioritize safety during the holiday season. If alcohol is part of your celebrations, plan ahead for a sober rideโ€”designate a driver, use a rideshare service, or find alternative transportation. Together, we can create a safer community for all.
