
SOLOMONS, Md. – The Calvert-St. Mary’s Metropolitan Planning Commission (C-SMMPO) Council will conduct a public meeting Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Calvert Marine Museum’s Waterfront Lounge, 14200 Solomons Island Road S., Solomons.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss proposed amendments to the Fiscal Year 2025–2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) on behalf of the Maryland State Highway Administration. The amendments include updates to:
- MD 5 Great Mills Study Project- Reflects an increase in funds and changes in funding sources.
- Areawide Congestion Management Project– Reflects a shift in funding and the addition of new project phase.
- Public Participation Plan Update– Includes changes to the public notice period and improved readability of the plan.

This public meeting is required by law to allow all interested parties the opportunity to present evidence and public comment regarding the C-SMMPO documents. Decisions will be based solely on evidence and testimony presented during the public hearing. Members of the press may attend.
