PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — CalvertHealth Medical Center welcomed its first baby of 2025 on Jan. 3, a milestone marking the dawn of Generation Beta. Shelby and Jacob Camp of Prince Frederick proudly celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Aurora, who made her debut as the first baby born at the hospital this year.

“Welcome to the world, Aurora!” CalvertHealth announced on Facebook, sharing in the Camp family’s joy. Aurora’s birth not only brings happiness to her family but also symbolizes a fresh start for the community in 2025.

Generation Beta, which begins with babies born on or after Jan. 1, 2025, is set to grow up in an era of advanced technology and innovation.
