Leonardtown, MD — More than 860 wheels were on display Sunday, April 26 in Leonardtown. Those wheels were on the more than 215 cars in the 30th Annual St. Mary’s Rod and Classic Car Club’s Spring Fling around the square in the historic St. Mary’s County seat. This is the event’s 15th year in Leonardtown.
On display were classic and antique cars and street rods. The cars could be enjoyed accompanied with background 50’s and 60’s music playing all over town.
The event included a blessing of the cars, kid’s tractor pull and games, and a silent auction and raffle for a cruise to Bermuda. The event was a fundraiser for Hospice of St. Mary’s with a $2 volunteer donation requested of attendees.
