Make “Celebrate Charles: A Fun-Filled Fourth” part of your Fourth of July plans. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf (11765 St. Linus Dr.), local businesses, artisans, and food establishments will be showcased in the “Best of Charles County”, and kids of all ages will be entertained with amusements in the Celebrate Charles Family Fun Zone. Live music will be performed by John Luskey and Three Sixty. In addition to a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 p.m., guests will enjoy a special, special, one-of-a-kind, daytime fireworks show at 6:30 p.m.
Admission to this event is free; however, activities, food, and product purchases all carry fees. A ticket is required to attend the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball game against the Camden Riversharks at 6:35 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the stadium box office, calling 301-638-9788, or visiting www.SoMDBlueCrabs.com. Guests will receive a complimentary Celebrate Charles Family Fun Zone wristband with the purchase of a ticket for that evening’s game. Additional parking will be available at Mary B. Neal Elementary (12105 St. George’s Dr., Waldorf) with free shuttle service to and from Regency Furniture Stadium.
