On February 4, at 12 p.m., Trooper Esnes responded to the 1900 block of Rosemary Lane in Port Republic for a reported malicious destruction of property. 

The victim reported that while traveling on Rt 231 prior to Hallowing State Park, the passenger in her vehicle tossed her cell phone out of the vehicle. 

Charges are pending against James E. Jones, 33 of Lusby, for malicious destruction of property.
