CHARLES COUNTY, Md. – Along the Potomac River on Sunday, October 3rd, celebrate the local produce and seafood at The Pavilion at Weatherly Farm in Newburg, Maryland.
Featuring foods that focus on the โFarm/River to Tableโ ideology, emphasizing the importance of locally grown produce and seafood caught in the area, the Charles County Chamber of Commerce is hoping to create a long-lasting tradition.
This event will host several local chefs to help provide the feast for the day. Along with these chefs, there will also be food provided from other local restaurants sponsoring the event.ย

In addition to highlighting the farm and river food, the “Bounty of the County” event will have several activities happening. There will be a silent auction, raffles, and a variety of more to choose from. There will also be alcoholic beverages available from local distilleries and wineries.
Leigh Ann Keller, who is in charge of the Bounty of the County, describes the event as โa unique event that showcases the ‘bounty’ of our farms and rivers prepared by some of the area’s best chefs served on the beautiful banks of the Potomac River.”ย

“In addition to the wonderful food, we spotlight our local wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Top it all off with local talent for entertainment and you have all the local ingredients for a truly special and amazing event,โ she said.
