CHARLES COUNTY, Md. — The annual Charles County Cleanup is set for Saturday, May 17, 2025, and organizers are calling on residents to volunteer for a day of community service aimed at enhancing the local environment.
Community members are encouraged to bring friends, family, co-workers and neighbors for a fun-filled day dedicated to cleaning up public spaces and showcasing community pride. Those interested in organizing a cleanup of their favorite local areas can register their groups by March 28 to receive supplies and trash disposal services.
As an added incentive, groups that register early will receive five complimentary T-shirts to wear on the day of the event, fostering a sense of unity among participants.
The cleanup event aims to inspire teamwork and environmental stewardship, contributing to a cleaner, greener and more beautiful Charles County.
