
CHARLES COUNTY – All Charles County public schools/centers will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. There will be no CCPS after-school or evening activities on Jan. 28.
There is a Code Two, which is a two-hour delay, for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) staff who follow the code system.
The Semester Break day for teachers and staff has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 29. Students will not attend school on Jan. 29. There will be no CCPS after-school or evening activities on Jan. 29.
CCPS is planning for students to return to schools/centers on Friday, Jan. 30, but will continue to monitor conditions. Please follow the CCPS website at www.ccboe.com for official information from the school system about the CCPS operating status.Â
